申请Brown的EE需要邮寄成绩单吗？

想请问各位，神奇功能Brown的EE需要邮寄成绩单吗？
看官方说，申请的时候不需要，录取了才需要。

When should I submit official college transcripts?
If Brown University offers you admission to the Graduate School, the original transcript/s must be sent to:

但是，刚刚翻以前的帖子，有人说需要邮寄成绩单。

我问过engingrad <engingrad@brown.edu> ，邮件回复原话是

You do not have to mail official transcript to the graduate school whey you apply.  If you are granted admission and matriculate in the fall, you will then be required to mail the official transcripts.
