4.25 Beijing 1000 F1 PhD-Physics Check (5.4旅游归来就clear啦！使馆居然如此神速)

A. VISA Clear 过程（5.7 updated):
5.4得知visa已经clear了，是北京大使馆用email通知我的, 5.7收到EMS寄到的VISA。我把一些详细的check信息分享出来，说不定能给大家一个参考：
1.面签的时候，VO向我索要的材料只有study plan和CV，其他的都没被收走。
2.今天下午5点收到的VISA Approved 的email，
3.email的邮域名是state.gov，
4.email的内容如下：
"
Dear Applicant,

We are happy to inform you that your visa application has been approved.  

If you made arrangements for the return of your passport through China Post:  Your passport will be available from China Post in three to five business days from the date of this email.  By now, you should have made arrangements with China Post to have your passport either returned by mail or for in-person pick-up from the China Post office at No. 3 North Liang Ma Qiao Road, Chaoyang District, and telephone 010 6592 9907.

Directions to China Post:
Public transportation:  Subway 10 to Liang Ma Qiao, Exit B, walk East and turn left at the first crossroad; turn right at the next crossing and walk straight 200 meters.
By car: Drive East from Yan Sha Bridge of East Third Ring. Turn left at the first crossroad toward Tian Ze Road, then turn left at the first T cross and drive 200 meters

5. 我的check时间不到两周（从4.25check到5.4clear），时间那么快应该跟较早申请签证有关。4月份面签的F1不是特别多，所以行政审核会快一些。

B. VISA面签过程:

今早（4.25）刚办完签证，汇报下签证情况，给其他正在准备签证的同学一点参考~
我约的是早上9：15的面签，差不多这个点儿到的（使馆的工作人员说这个预约时间不要紧的，迟点儿或早点儿来都行）。关于如何过安检，领牌排队之类的，我就不介绍了，GTER上写的很详细。
下面贴出自己的签经：
Me: Morning, Sir!
VO: (smile) You gonna to pursue a doctorate degree
Me: Yes, I will study in ##U
Vo: Oh, You are from ##U(VO说我本科学校)
Me: Yeah! I will get my B.S. degree in this July. （之间有点紧张）I'm a little nervous. I 'm a senior student now.
Vo: Do you have any relatives in US?
Me: No.
Vo: Do you have Study Plan or CV?
Me: Yeah. here you are, Sir
(之后，签证官没问我什么问题了，我也紧张得不知道说啥好，就沉默了。期间，VO一直在电脑面前看我的资料。大概有两三分钟吧)
Vo： You are approved. But you will get your passport after a month.
Me: Thank you! But do you mean I'm checked?
Vo: Yes,
Me: (Smile)
VO: Have a nice trip in US~
Me: Thank you

小结一下：
1.我本科是光电子专业，拿到PhD-Physics 全奖TA offer, 跟未来老板做无机PV方面的新能源，他是NREL的 research scientist。估计这个背景有点儿敏感，所以被check了。之前，看不少签经，理工科背景的容易check。所以，今早被check也在意料之中（当时还跟一北师的妹子开玩笑说我肯定要被check，果真如此啊）。不过，当时如果自己在解释一下，和VO形成良好的交流互动，估计可以水果。但当时紧张的话也说不出来，签证官又没问我背景，在这种尴尬的气氛下，我就只好沉默的接受这check了~~~~(>_<)~~~~
2.今早我们组一共有8个人——4个F1,4个旅游签证，截止我（我是7号）签完的时候，只有一个旅游的被拒，其他都过了。说实话都不算水，不过准备充分没啥大问题
