1st WL @ CMU INI MSIN

早有预感在WL上，不知道给的概率还有多大，值不值得等呢，求有经验的小伙伴给点意见。附上邮件，求好运

After careful consideration of your application, we have decided to place you on the waiting list for admission to the Information Networking Institute (INI) graduate programs for Fall 2015. There are a limited number of seats available for incoming students and therefore we cannot admit all students who meet our minimum application qualifications.

Occasionally, we will offer admission to just a few of the students on the waiting list by April 30; however the majority of students placed on the waiting list will not be offered a seat. If you do not hear from us by the end of April, this means we do not have a seat for you.

There is no ranking to the waitlist. If a seat opens up, applicants on the waitlist will be re-reviewed to determine which applicant would best fill the seat that is open based on the information in your application and the needs of the INI.

We request that you do not attempt to send additional information in support of your application, as it will not be accepted or considered. Additionally, frequent attempts to contact INI faculty or staff in an attempt to gain a seat in one of the INI programs will negatively affect your status on the waitlist.

We admitted no one from the waitlist last year. There are a lot of people on
the waitlist this year and the chances that anyone from the list will get in
are very slim. If a spot opens up and we select her for this spot we will
notify her and yes this is usually at the end of April if this happens.
However we will not send any further notification to her at this point and
she will only hear from us again if we have a spot open at the end of April
AND if she is chosen for that spot. Typically applicants in this situation
should consider other offers they have received.

也无所谓吧，等着也没事，反正也没到415
