8th AD CS@UWM (PMP) 能拿到还是很高兴的

今天早上刷到的，还是很高兴的！！！虽然和传统的MSCS不能比，也很开心啦。这个是Professional Master Program。

Congratulations! We are recommending that you be admitted to the Professional Master’s
Program (PMP) in the Department of Computer Sciences. This year we received hundreds
of highly qualified applications, out of which we can only accept less than 25%, due to the
limited number of slots in the program.
The Graduate School will review your application to confirm you meet minimum graduate
admission requirements and will send a final, official admissions decision. You can also check
My UW at my.wisc.edu for up-to-date information on your admission status.
PMP students are not permitted to accept teaching assistantships, project assistantships, research
. 1point 3 acresassistantships, or other appointments that would result in a tuition waiver. So you are
required to provide your own financial support. You can find more information about tuition
under “How much does the program cost?”, in the FAQ at http://www.cs.wisc.edu/academics/
graduate-programs/professional-masters/faq. You are eligible and can apply for summer internships,
however. In addition, PMP students cannot enroll in other graduate programs
nor take courses outside the Department of Computer Sciences without an explicit approval
of the PMP committee.
In the enclosed brochure you can find more details about our department, student life, and
our track record in training outstanding computer scientists. Please note that we have hired
many outstanding young professors since the brochure was printed, so you should visit our
website to see the complete list of our faculty. We would be happy to provide you with other
