Dr. Xiaobo Xue invites applications for a graduate research assistant position at the PhD level in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at SUNY, Albany. Dr. Xue’s research focuses on developing life cycle and risk assessment approaches to investigate the environmental sustainability of water and energy systems.
The ideal candidate should have obtained a M.S. degree in environmental science, public health, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field. Exceptional students with a B.S. degree in the aforementioned fields will be considered. Preference will be given to students with life cycle assessment, risk assessment, and mathematical modeling related research experience. The selected student will receive a competitive stipend, tuition waiver, and benefits. Opportunities will be available to attend academic conferences, and to collaborate with governmental and industrial partners.
