【HCI】1st AD HCI@IUB 2nd AD MSI@Umich

今天早上起来刷出了两封AD，好开心，终于结束了失学状态。我主申就是HCI


IUB给了一年6000刀

Umich学费那么贵！还没有奖T T
不过听说奖学金是后来评的
不知道有没有人知道需要申请么？
还是静静等待就好了

Anyway 从开始自己申请到现在 大四上的焦头烂额 常失眠的日子终于结束了！

Scholarship and funding resources
This post intends to provide you with details and resources for funding an MSI degree. All students who apply are considered for UMSI merit based scholarships, and those who apply by January 15 receive first consideration for these scholarships.  

There are also several external scholarships that you can apply for before admission.  Many of these scholarships have deadlines that are soon, so please check out our external scholarships spreadsheet for specific deadlines and requirements.  In addition, UMSI is often able to match funding awards from external scholarships.  Graduate school can be affordable, so please take a look at all of the funding resources detailed below.  

UMSI Scholarships
UMSI merit scholarships range from partial to full tuition coverage, with possible additional benefits, (regardless of residency status) for four semester of full-time MSI coursework.  We go through 3-4 rounds of UMSI Scholarship offers throughout the term. We hope to complete the first round in late February/early March. The second round will be later in the spring, with a possible third round later.

The first round of UMSI Scholarships are entirely merit-based. Subsequent rounds will always have merit as the primary factor for consideration, but we will also look at your motivation to attend UMSI. These factors can be demonstrated by professional, consistent communication with us.You are welcome to submit an additional letter/email for the admissions committee's consideration. I've seen previous admissions committees look at your excitement about UMSI, your efforts in applying for external fellowships,anything particular about the nature of your need, the connections you make at MSI Visiting Days, the professionalism of your interactions, and other things for the subsequent rounds of UMSI Scholarship.

Merit is still the primary factor, and by merit we mean the strength of your statement of purpose and personal statement, your letters of recommendation, your internship/research/work experience, your academic record including your GRE, demonstration of leadership, service, comfort with ambiguity, etc. It is NOT just your GRE/GPA.

我家里倒是还可以 我也有跟他们提起过这家学校知名度不太高 但program很符合我的兴趣 faculty也很好 他们见我自己觉得满意的便ok了
cmu那个系统是奇葩 完全没法点进去看任何status 不过我gre没有考得很好 这个admission竞争那麽大的神科应该有90%机会把我拒了吧 现在就只等3月的正式结果

要是真心想读hci的话iub的program会比nyu itp好得多呢 楼主错过了也无妨

如果Umich没有奖学金那肯定是IUB了！

我也是等这3家和nyu itp 不过感觉要是ga tech 和cmu没来offer的话 应该也是选择iub的了 申请期间iub的友善email回覆和interview跟faculty聊天也让我对iub好感度大增呀 反倒是cmu的program director语气真的不太好 让我有点失望

是的！ IUB的人好好好好啊。
CMU的消息完全渺茫，之前申请的时候那个网站也进不去了。

ITP的话，后来没有申请，错失当艺术家的机会了。

对的对的，因为ITP第一次DDL是12月嘛，我那个时候作品及网站没弄好，就没申。后来听说退后了，也懒得申了。
啊啊一起等其他校！！希望有好消息！
