I am here to ask something about my application(Not asking for internal referral). I am a PhD candidate doing research in Computer Vision and Image Processing. Recently I have been referralled by one of my advisor's friend which is a leader of Amazon Go for an internship position in summer 2017. We have worked together and he was the second author for one of my cvpr paper. After his referral, I got a letter from Amazon's HR asking me to apply online. I then did it right away and received a reply from this HR saying that I would get contacted by somebody several days later. However, about two weeks passed and I did not get any reply. Does this mean that I do not pass the resume review step? :(

the hiring event is more for industry candidates. if new grads have special skill sets, it can go through the hiring event.
