刚刚收到NEU的邮件说会在5.1号再给决定，是上了waiting list的意思么？

申请NEU ECE optics track，今晚收到一封邮件说申请结果会等到5.1号才有，这是上了waiting list的意思吗？邮件应该是群发，感觉应该很多人今晚都收到了。。。
说好的周五晚放offer的呢。。。好烦，唉。。。
邮件正文（部分）：
“The purpose of this email is to remind you that you may not receive your official decision until May 1, 2016 for your program of interest: Electrical and Computer Engineering . Some applicants will receive their decision much sooner than this. When your final decision is posted, you will be notified via email.

Meanwhile, please note that your application is complete and is under faculty admissions committee review. No action is needed or recommended on your part at this time, as inquiries may cause delays in our process.

With that said, also note that some applicants have already received their official decision, but not all applicants will receive their decision in the same timeframe. During last year's admissions cycle for example, a few hundred admitted applicants received their decision after April 15, which is common and to be expected. Also note that if you are an international student, Northeastern's deadline to initiate the I-20/visa process for fall entry (with classes beginning in early September) is July 1.”

总结了一下各位的回复，应该是所有同学都收到了。目前被拒的同学似乎也不多，估计也不能算waiting list吧。
目前收到录取的同学4.1号要交占坑费，目测4月份到5月份会再发一批录取。
另外也谢谢已经决定不去NEU并且decline了的同学。

我是一月初交的，感觉和时间没关系…

同收到，感觉和时间没关系，可能是进了waiting list了，难过

应该是进了备胎档了，不过最起码还有上位的机会，不要灰心哈
