统计类 各行业都在做什么？

做数据平台的data scientist @ IT，稍微更偏向researcher
产品设计，综合use case and data needs, 做的最多的活动可能是ensure rigor
理解用户需求，build data product (就是productionize模型什么的）

junior level的做实现的较多，customer support类工作较多
there will be lots of SQL/hive queries, some R, some python

sr的做系统设计较多
平时工具：gdoc, google slides, google spreadsheet, google form, google calendar, google appscript (seriously....)
I practically live in gdoc/gcal, in the past 14 weeks I wrote 38 docs....
other than that, it's Python, some R, a little bit of SQL/Hive queries
There's plan in the near future to write some logic in scala/go/java.
a tiny bit of js for the occasional change in FE

tech stuff: some regression, some ML, lots hypothesis test, advanced experiment design, lots of simulation

healthcare software公司做data analyst, 平时最常用的tool是SQL，R和Tableau跑跑dashboard visualizations， 偶尔Python。其实公司不care用什么language，活做出来就行。平时做得最多的其实是descriptive statistics 画图画table和做hypothesis testing， 偶尔算算sample size。model的话其实比较灵活，regression和classification用得最多 预测和health有关的metrics
