Two Ph.D. Positions in Operations Management at University of Colorado—Boulder

Leeds School of Business atUniversity of Colorado—Boulder invites applications for its Ph.D. program inOperations Management for Fall 2016 admissions. At least two positions areavailable. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in optimization,linear programming, integer programming and analysis of algorithms. Proficiencyin a computer programming language (C, C++, Java, python or Matlab) is preferred.

Admitted students receive a full tuitionwaiver, a partial waiver of student health insurance costs, and stipend as longas they are in good standing with the department. Students work approximately20 hours per week as research and/or teaching assistants in return for support.The 2015-2016 stipend is $25,000 for the nine-month academic year. Summerresearch fellowships are also available. While the continuation of financialaid is contingent on satisfactory performance, most students are funded forfour years. Students may request a fifth year of funding.
