UCI终于给我算GPA啦，顺便报两个保底AD

4月初曾经拜托一位UCI的教授去问了一下录取的进度，教授的回信是这样的：


It seems that the decision has not been made yet.  His GPA is a little low (3.1).  Usually, you need a 3.2 to get in, but his GRE looks good (324).  So the faculty hasn't made a decision yet.


于是我就开始纠结了，GPA这个硬伤啊！！！要死

等到今天下午，UCI终于终于终于给我算GPA了，我自己提交的GPA是3.1，UCI居然给我算了个3.32/4.0，还超过了他要求的3.2一点点
话说是不是算了GPA就有比较大的可能要录取了啊，求大神解答！！！要是不录取我就得去UCR了。。。




PS：个人软背景稍强于GPA什么的，有北大核心期刊第一作者一篇，IEEE第二作者一篇，其他还有两篇论文（共计四篇），吴文俊科技进步奖一项（国内人工智能最高奖项），软件著作权一项，也不知道这些东西有没有卵用。。。。。。

额。。。今早收到UCI要求提交财产证明了。。。看来还是有希望的啊，回家烧香去了。。。

Your application for graduate degree study at the University of
California, Irvine beginning in the Fall 2016 academic term is under
. review. Since this is a very competitive application process that
receives thousands of applicants each year, only a small percentage of
the applicants will be admitted.

At this stage of the review process, you are required to provide
documents showing your ability to support yourself financially if
admitted.

You are required to show proof of financial support in the amount of
$49,595 for the nine-month academic year beginning mid-September 2016.
This includes tuition and fees for three quarters ($31,595) and living
. .иexpenses of $18,000. This number could be higher if you are being
accompanied by family members.

The proof required is a letter on bank letterhead stating that, as a
customer of that bank, you have at least $49,595 to support yourself
while studying at UC Irvine. Please note that the amount must be
listed in US dollars.

If your education will be supported by someone other than yourself,
you will also need a letter from your sponsor(s) stating that they are
willing to support you along with a letter from their banking
institution verifying that they have the funds available (in US
dollars).

The financial verification documents you submit for this purpose
should be recent, and must be valid for at least 3 months from the day
they are received.

Please email your scanned documents to the  Graduate Student
Admissions Coordinator. at eecsgrad@uci.edu at your earliest
convenience. If we have not received your documents within 30 days, we
will assume that you will be unable to attend in Fall 2016.

After we receive these documents, the admissions committee will make a
final review of your application. Upon approval you will receive a
letter with your official offer of admission to the University of
California, Irvine.

Appended below are detailed instructions for you to follow after you
have been formally admitted and decide to accept our offer.

万分感谢，我想咨询一下那个财产证明一定要是美元么？工商银行只给开人民币啊。。。

还是会有点用的。

这个教授是我爸的一个朋友，他也是费了很大的劲才问到录取情况的，实在没法再要求他去问了，对不起啊哥们

大家平均要多少天啊，我UCR那边要求我一个月之内交占坑费。。。
