Amazon 物联网相关选组求建议

填survey的时候备注对物联网感兴趣，于是收到的三个组都相关，内心有一些想法和初步的决定，但还是想听听大家怎么说，尤其是有相关开发、工作、实习经验，或者对物联网同感兴趣、或者对其发展有任何想法的同学～

常在地里看到帖子分tu享cao aws的工作经验，但aws是一个很大的组，各个小组之间存在差别，aws iot这个组算小众了，网上也几乎搜不到什么工作体验分享。

自称对物联网感兴趣的我在接到选组邮件前还不知道kindle还可以和它扯上关系，组内主要有Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Dash, and Amazon Echo.

FireOS - SJC @ Sunnyvale
Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. Lab126 has produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV, Amazon Echo, and Dash Button.  The Fire OS team is a big part of creating these innovative devices at Lab126.  The Fire OS team is responsible for the board bring up, low level software, operating system, and core framework feature development, end-to-end system functions such as power/performance, that bring the devices to life.  For many devices, the Fire OS team takes the open source Android distribution and productizes the software on Amazon hardware.  For devices that don’t run Fire OS, the Fire OS team is responsible for the low level software of those devices.  The software built by the Fire OS team runs on all Amazon devices.
The core technologies are C, embedded Linux, wifi, basic hardware knowledge, and Android.
听说lab126单独招聘，没想到会有这个选项，地点诱人，主要做硬件和嵌入式操作系统。glassdoor对management的评价较低。

最后想说说物联网，这个概念在国内红了很久，却始终未在工业界成熟，在知乎上看到一个有意思的观点：大的公司并不直接开发物联网产品，他们为开发者提供平台，早在发展阶段就可以从开发者获取利润，等待市场成熟阶段又可以大展身手，甚至收购有前景的开发者。细想也是，虽然本科是物联网毕业的，也做了大大小小一些项目，但都站在应用开发的角度，aws iot将会带来另一方面 — 提供平台方面的心得体会（看到这里我的初步决定已经呼之欲出了哈哈）

但是我不是很懂IOT, 听说用到不少云服务，oncall也没有其他大组严重，而且听说亚麻最近很重视这个组的发展，也是在扩张阶段

关注一下，我国内本科也是物联网的，不过填survey的时候忘记提了。。在国内的时候觉得物联网很有前景，但是到美帝感觉物联网并不火啊，职位比较少而且基本都和硬件相关，CS专业做物联网总感觉有点不合适。。

现在大公司做物联网其实就是云平台吧，感觉cs专业的system track还蛮合适的～
