First, USC is not among the top ones. Second, the department is only good at fluids and combustion. Third, the department is so small, with only a few research areas. However, USC is near downtown LA, everything is beautiful here. The Chinese community at Southern California is large, which will make your PhD less miserable.

感谢回复……it's hard to get a better offer...and I feel relieved if the PhD life can really be more enjoyable.

If you want to have a little bit of life, definitely, you should come to USC. A lot of things to eat and to see here.
