"I am anticipating having support for a PhD student to work on wireless and 5G systems starting on 8/16/2017.  I am interested in talking to students potentially interested in this position, including students interested in converting from the MS to the PhD degree."

Nonono. I don't have any connection with her. Just hear something from other students, only as a reference, and not reflecting my own opinion.
I don't want to let anyone do wrong decision if he/she doesn't want a pushy advisor... But there are some people who like pushy advisor, so they can contact her.

这也正常，毕竟要招的是17Fall的，其他学校的也来不及了，而且NCSU第一年是TA
