J1 Waiver approval notice

想问下，在uscis已经批准以后change of address是不是notice就肯定寄丢了？要怎么办？

DOS 3.17 发出来的recommendation letter，三月底收到uscis 在审的信，信里有uscis的case number，状态一直是received by another center
本周一(4.17)在uscis的网站上改的地址，当时查的状态也还是received 没变。然后周三再查状态，就变成4.11 approve了 （估计是他们一直在忙h1b的事情，没空更新）

现在是不是意味着，我在approve之后才改的地址，导致之前即出来的approval notice收不到了？我是不是可以给他们打电话重新要求寄一份approval notice到新的地址？

另外，已经在usps改过change of address了，priority mail会被redirect (？）,但是貌似approval notice是平信，所以没法redirect?

我觉得你可以打电话去问问看看那个approval notice有没有寄出，如果寄出了那问问寄到哪个地址了，800-375-5283.而且你USPS改地址了的话，应该会寄到你的新地址。你的豁免办得还是挺快的，我是11月初提交的申请，到现在还没办完。请问你的豁免approved了之后，有background check吗？我先收到了说form I 612 approved, 然后因为USCIS把我名字拼错了，我打电话去让他们帮改过来（打的就是800-375-5283），然后同一天收到邮件说I 612 approved了，第二天收到邮件说名字改过来了，但是case status变成了initial review，During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators. 我没有这个问题。。。
前天我打电话过去问这个address的事，得到的回复是，目前最好的解决方法是等30天，如果没收到，再打电话 过去说没收到，让他们再寄一份到新的地址。不然的话 要file一个什么东西 要花钱的（没细听，所以名字没记住。。。）。我估计今年我H1B没抽中，所以也就不急着办这个了。

我记得之前看到过你的帖子 或者回复，建议你也打电话过去确认一下吧。。。

我记得地里有个详细的帖子，mitbbs上也有一个，你自己搜搜，应该不太难找。也可以直接去纽约中心的网站上找流程。

和当时的唯一区别，应该就是寄到什么地方了，以前好像是寄到领事馆，现在中国方面统一寄到纽约中心。

statement的话，就说得比较诚恳，有什么说什么就行，最好不要用模板，感觉纽约中心的人都还挺nice的

平信也可以redirect吧

移民局的信从来不会redirect，如果信箱没有那个人的名字就直接退回了

退回去以后是怎么个状况？再重新寄一份？

楼主好，我也要给老婆办豁免，特比想问下楼主办理的过程，持续时间，和需要注意的事项。
上次办理就因为 给中方的statement 豁免理由 没写清楚加上再美时间有限，就半途而废了，这次打算一鼓作气办下来。
所以特别想问问楼主statement怎么写才算合格。
