I can not give detailed questions, as I did sign some agreement.

The machine questions are not very hard; normal concepts you would learn in a (comprehensive) machine learning course (Bishop's book would cover all questions). They would not ask you very advanced theory or very detailed algorithm (interviewer at some other company asked me to write down the Baum Welch algorithm and I was cursing the guy in my mind when I was doing it).

Coding was not very hard either since I was interviewing for scientist position. I would say "cracking the coding interview" easy to middle level difficulty. Array/vector type of standard data structures were sufficient.

The interviewers were nice.

In what sense?

I did not have any experience with AWS. Alexa is growing and trying to double its size this year. I saw a lot of young (Chinese) research scientists there during the interview, and I felt they are good.

Are you sure Boston is cheaper than Seattle? I saw here some fresh phds got slightly larger package at Amazon Seattle for the same level 5.

boston确实能住的很舒服了。 楼主我做采购procurement方向，有几年美国的工作经验。Amazon有组在招吗

It is 4 years:
5% (year 1), 15% (year 2), 20% (year 2.5), 20% (year 3), 20% (year 3.5), 20% (year 4)
