有了解rpi评审流程的请帮忙看下。

申请RPI ME 2012 fall phd，之前看到说会卡aw，没有太在意，坚持申请了。已经接近尾声了，可是还没有消息，于是发邮件问了下系里管graduate program的一个教授。他回复我如下：


“Your application is quite strong and I would have very much liked to admit you. The problem is that your GRE A is 3.0, which is much below RPI's minimum of 4.0. To accept you, I need to request a waiver from the Office of Graduate Education (OGE). They are unlikely to provide one for an applicant with low GRE A. So, I probably will not have any choice but to decline your application. If you are willing to retake the GRE in the hope of securing a higher GRE A score, it would really help. For Fall 2012 it is probably too late. But, we still have plenty of time to consider your application for Spring 2013.”


可是一个星期过后，我还是没有看到拒信的状态。
实在是想得到一个干脆的答案。不管是什么结果。
大家有什么建议没有。

他有可能直接把你的材料推迟到2013春，这次就当你没有申过。不过你应该给人家一个答案你是不是会重考啊。

之前也发信问过，回：GT都不满足要求，不过有教授愿意收你的话，还是有戏的。不过看LZ的情况，似乎系里已经努力过了，依然搞不定，如果LZ已经打算放弃这家的话就当是拒了吧，要是还特别想去，就再发信争取一下，说不定有好结果呢~

这个。我明天还准备问下研院。这个，我该向谁争取，系里么？这个教授就是系里的。还是说我应该联系下教授。他家貌似第一年都ta，不指定导师。

    贵在坚持吧~ 被拒的都有Argue成功的，何况现在教授还很想要你，如果你给教授发信说特别想去，能不能帮忙想想办法~ 教授也许就会给研院讲：特别想收这个学生，能不能通融一下~ 也许就会有转机，虽然可能性较小，但是不试白不试~
