报几个最近的好消息和坏消息~~~

这一阵子各种打鸡血...忙的焦头烂额，申请这边也有几个消息，首先上杯具。。。前一阵NEU和UPitt发大招aoe的时候我悉数中招，我本以为希望挺大的俩学校都跟我掰掰了搞得我微微有些烦闷...
这周二的时候我的好基友告诉我Tufts也出结果了，给了他AD~ 结果我一查...就Unfortunately了...
今天早上起床取消手机飞行模式之后的片刻...看到哀凤给我提示新邮件~心惊胆战地一看....俩AD
一个是申的算是最低的保底校UTD，另外一个是U of Rochester~UR还给了35%的Tuition Scholarship~
我看地里大家拿的都是UR的带这个学费减免的AD~信里说去年有13482刀~今年还会随学费增减

我想问大家一个问题...信里面有这么一句解释
Tuition scholarship reflects 35% of full time enrollment of 30 hours based on 2011-12 tuition charges.

那个30hours是什么概念？一年？通常整个研究生有多少hours啊...和credits是啥关系呢...

    鉴于我也有此疑问，我已经发信问了小米，以下为他的答复，希望对你有帮助：
The tuition cost is actually based on 30 credits at $1284 per credit which equals $38,520. You will receive a tuition waiver of 35% which is $13,482 leaving your tuition costs at $25,038. This is the tuition cost for the full 30 credits need to meet the degree requirement.

Some student complete the 30 credit in 12 months and others take 18 months.
Most students who do the Plan A- Thesis option take the full 18 months to complete the degree. Student who choose Plan B non-Thesis option can complete in 12 -14 months.

You do not need to choose an option of Plan A or Plan B until after the first semester of study and after a discussion with your advisor.

I will tell you that most MS students in ECE do not do the Plan A Thesis option.
