Opening PhD positions at Mississippi State University

Ph.D. Assistantship Positions Available for Fall 2018:

Dr. Bo Tang in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Mississippi State University is seeking graduate students (Ph.D. degree in electrical/computer engineering) starting Fall 2018 and beyond. For this new Ph.D. position, we are particularly interested in highly-motivated students with a strong research background and capability.
A Master degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related majors is preferred. Outstanding undergraduate students will also be considered;
Strong mathematical background and proficient in modeling and simulation in a programming environment, such as Matlab, Python, C/C++, or Java;
Previous research experiences with computational intelligence, signal processing, machine learning, data mining, adaptive control, communication, and robotics are preferred, but not required.
