NYU ECE申请的Phd，给了个master的ad，能联系其他教授转为phd吗

如题，收到NYU的Admission，额。。。但是还是想读phd，地里大佬指点一下该怎么办？

The faculty is not able to offer you admission to the doctoral degree program at this time.  However, I am very pleased to offer you admission to the Master's in Electrical Engineering degree program as a Full-Time student.  If you have not already done so, please request that official copies of your academic record be sent immediately or you will not be permitted to register.  If you enroll, you will also be required to provide official documentation of proof of university degrees completed.

可以转为Ph.D. 不过还是需要先上一两个学期的课。入学的时候找教授，去实验室当助研，一般老师觉得不错的话都是可以转成博士的（可能是那种你按流程交个博士申请，然后老师让你通过）。
