We have a small number of offers we will be able to make this year, and a high number of competitive applications. So you are currently on a back-up list for consideration.

Depending upon the number of acceptances we receive back, a second wave of offers could still be made after April 15th and your application would still be considered at that time.

It is unlikely any more offers will be made until that point. If you receive other offers with a response date of April 15th, we recommend you accept them. But, if you happen to be still available after April 15th, please check in with us again.

emmm就是你在waiting list的意思，他们4.15之后还会发一批不过希望比较小了，劝你接收其他的学校

备胎的意思吧，应该就是他们怕自己4.15人不够，然后可能还会在4.15之后发offer吧……
