关于USC托福成绩有效期的问题

昨天收到USC研究生办公室发过来的邮件说我的材料不齐，托福成绩没有收到或者是过期了。我的托福成绩是2016年7月16号的，邮件里说对于2018秋季学期来说我的成绩是过期了的，今天凌晨先在Skype上问了招生办是不是托福成绩过期了会不会影响录取，之后又打了电话给研究生办公室问，电话里面回复说我的材料都没问题，会继续审核，托福成绩也可以用，还说不知道为什么会给我发那个邮件。放了一个心之后今天早上起来一看Skype上面又回复我说我的成绩不行，如果不能尽快考出成绩的话我的申请会被update到春季学期。但是又没有具体回答我是不是我的材料就不会发到学院继续审核了。
有人了解这方面是怎么回事吗？应该怎么办？这个成绩是可以之后再补的吗？



这个是发给我的邮件全文：
We have received your application for admission to the University of Southern California and have begun the review process. However, our records indicate that you have not yet satisfied our English-language proficiency requirement

As an international student applying to a graduate program at USC, you must demonstrate English-language proficiency by submitting TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores. We are contacting you because we have not yet received your official TOEFL/IELTS/PTE scores or because the scores we have on record for you are outdated and therefore no longer valid.

In order for your scores to be valid, official English-language proficiency scores must be received directly from the testing service and must be dated no earlier than 2 years (24 months) prior to the start of your intended first term at USC.

All test scores must be sent electronically and not by postal mail. If you are sending TOEFL scores, the institution code for USC is 4852 (no department code is required). To submit your IELTS results to USC, please select the "University of Southern California" from the list of available institutions. You do not need to include any information for the USC department to which you are applying.

If you took the TOEFL or IELTS test after you submitted your application, please log back into your application to add your new scores. To learn more about USC's policies regarding English language proficiency, please visit our website here.

去看了，确实说要八月之后的成绩才是有效的。。。

成绩过期不影响材料审核（至少个人经验是这样，托福是15年的但是还是拿到了offer），不过要入学的话就需要有效成绩。

那意思是如果被录取了的话再补上成绩也是可以的吧？

楼主请问情况如何？是录取后补成绩吗？还是必须重新考？
