TAMU 塔木 -- 无聊的大农村

太太太无聊了。美国人浪费能源，去哪里都是开车





但是呢 一个小时能开到Houston，好吃的中餐非常多，downtown也很漂亮，tamu毕业的大多都去去houston工作了。

下面发一下houoston的新中国城：



Dunhuang Plaza. One of the newest shopping centers in Chinatown.

This was taken from Sterling Plaza, another newer shopping centers across from Dunhuang. The glass building in the background belongs to American First National Bank （恆豐銀行). A Taiwanese-American bank. It is currently the tallest commercial building in Chinatown.

This is looking down at Bellaire toward east. The restaurant in the front is Arirang, a Korean restaurant. Behind Arirang is Chase. There is no shortage of banks in Chinatown. In a two block radius (from Beltway 8 to Gessner) on Bellaire, there is a total of 9 banks.


This is now technically considered Little Saigon as it's west of Beltway 8. Kim Son （金山）is a pretty famous restaurant and offers dimsum and hotpot buffet. They host at least one wedding per weekend.


Hong Kong City Mall


This is also west of Beltway 8 in a large shopping center called Hong Kong City Mall （香港城）although nearly all of the businesses inside are Vietnamese.


Ocean Palace （珍寶）is a large Chinese restaurant. Like Kim Son, Ocean Palace also offers dimsum and hosts many weddings on weekends. Also many Vietnamese concerts are played here.

我从大二就对塔木有很大的兴趣，沾沾楼主的喜气。加油！

卧槽这学期是天天不分时段堵车，一堵一小时，校园里人山人海，教室就暂且不说，连图书馆里都是坐的地方都没有。各个系都尼玛缺钱缺的凶啊，狮子大开口狂招本科生和master来填坑交学费，学校简直是变态老地主，为多捞钱完全不择手段了，你确定感兴趣？

我来tamu两个月，
1.没有发现堵车，可能我每天坐校车。但是我坐校车各个时间段都有，并没有一堵一小时。

1. 我开车，wellborn rd和bush drive, 超过45分钟的被堵过3次，最长1小时20分，低于45分钟还没算，天天都是没得好算的；
2. 呵呵，教学楼爆满WiFi都连不上，看不到么，想啥呢

学校有老bush的纪念馆，大家来的时候可以参观一下

好地方啊，比国内农村好多了。。

看见“夜色”了，哈哈，应该拍拍那个天上人间

体育场挺壮观的。

除了个别几个大城市。。。基本上在美国走哪儿都是农村。。。也就释然了。。。

LZ 德州 工科就业情况怎么样呀？看着风光还不错呀，中国城看着蛮像国内的
