和室友Aaron一顿offer表情包互喷，喷出了一堆怪信：UIUC rej（彩票校不意外） + UCSD 通知我网申信息有误 + 在trash里找到一个月前给哥大发的催decision信的回信说asap =  =

就在我刚要提交这篇帖子的时候，UIUC又发了一封邮件说我的application remains under review，会在3.20之前给我发decision ?!?!?!?!?

求大家帮我看看，这是什么操作

Your application for graduate study in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has been carefully considered by our Graduate Admissions Committee.  We regret to inform you that the committee is not recommending you for admission.  Due to space limitations and a very large number of exceptional applicants, we are unfortunately unable to recommend many well-qualified students for the program.  Therefore, we hope that this decision will not discourage you from pursuing your future academic and career goals.

Please note that the department policy is not to communicate the individual reasons for its decision. If you have any questions, please respond to this email.

We appreciate your interest in our program and all of your efforts in preparing an application.  Together with the rest of the department, we sincerely wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

层主大致是什么时候收到educational background review letter的呢？大致是这样的么：
Dear Student:

We are checking that your educational background information is correctly listed in the application:

IMPORTANT:  Make sure your bachelor’s degree is correctly listed.  The Education Level for the institution where you received or will receive your bachelor’s degree should be listed as “Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.” Do NOT list it as “During Bachelor's Degree (no degree earned)” or as “Prior to Bachelor's degree (after high school).”

Make sure you have listed every institution you attended after high school graduation.  
Make sure the transcripts you have uploaded have all necessary information:
your name
the institution name
dates of attendance
grades/marks received
credits
grading legend

You do NOT need to contact us if you have questions about how your information is listed.  We will contact you if we have additional questions.

. .и别急，Check一下垃圾箱里有没有，看上面的回复，这封邮件应该是群发
也许可能ad已经在路上了所以就不让你await了

Got it，原来是因为我申请了两个 录取结果分开发放

我申请的mcs也收到第二封under review，估计是一起发的吧？

同申请MCS收到第二封，看到表示MSCS好高的bar

同mcs第二封 等那么久过几天终于有个新消息了

MCS收到第二份...这算是凉了吧？地里MCS录取感觉10个作用了

之前admission office 跟我说只能申请一个，所以就没有申请mcs。。。。竟然还是可以这么操作。。。楼主还有希望～
