    该校既设置Stage management，又设置了Theatre management，而且对两个专业的培养方向做了描述：舞台管理专业是培养舞台管理的专门人才，为戏剧创作提供良好的环境，或者从事舞台管理专业的高等教育教学工作；剧场管理专业的培养方向是：advertising, alumni/recruitment relations, box office, development, group sales, house management, subscription sales and media relations.
    此类专业对学生的艺术、技术、管理和沟通能力都有较高要求，所以申请者在申请过程中要着重体现这些方面的能力。另外学校要求学生托福79分或雅思6.5，但申请此类专业最好对语言成绩做跟充足的准备。

[size=-1]Graduate stage managers at UCI work with directors, choreographers, musical directors, and designers in various genres including drama, musical theatre, dance, opera, concerts and special events. An assistantship of approximately $10,000 per academic year will be provided to each student accepted into the program.  An assistantship will also include a full tuition waiver.  As a function of their assistantships, students in this program will be assigned to teach the Stage Management for undergraduate majors, under the guidance of an experienced faculty member. Under their assistantships, students in the program will be assigned to work in specific production shops.
