An opening for Ph.D. student (2019 Spring or fall) is available at Virginia Tech, Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering, with full financial support (stipend + tuition).
The graduate program of ISE, Virginia Tech rank #6 in 2017 according to U.S News & World Report.
The student will conduct research in the area of engineering-driven data mining and analytics. Students with skills in advanced statistics, machine learning, computer modeling (like FEA), advanced manufacturing are welcome to apply.
