芝加哥DePaul大学CACS招收CS全奖MS

The Center of Applied Computer Science (CACS) at DePaul University will recruit student developer for the upcoming 2018-2019 Academic year. We are looking for developers with strong experience with React/Redux, JS, HTML, CSS ideally with a full-stack experience using .Net/C#.

A brief description of CACS:

Center of Applied Computer Science (CACS) is a graduate student group in the college of CDM at DePaul University. CACS gives its members unique experience which combines academic study with production level application development. CACS members distinguish themselves through solution-oriented teamwork, high levels of creativity, and technological competence. Many of CACS graduates have joined leading IT company like Google, Facebook, Amazon and Microsoft.


Select candidates get full scholarships of $18,000 and six tuition waivers each academic year – it covers two courses each quarter which guarantees F1 visa holders as full time students.  In return, the students work twenty hours per week on our Course Online (COL) project.  If students stay and work during the summer and winter break, CACS pays for their work hourly. A master degree requires thirteen courses, which typically takes around two years.

The core technology of the Online Learning at DePaul CDM is Course Online (COL) recording system. All of the software for this systems are developed by CACS. The COL recording system has been running flawlessly in more than seventy classrooms since 1999. COL created more than ten million revenues each year for DePaul University.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in full stack, heavy front-end development.
  
• Strong REACT and REDUX experience
  
• Experience building applications using C#, ASP.Net MVC 5, Web API, React, Redux, SQL Server
  
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
  
• Familiarity with modern front-end builds pipelines and tools. pipelines and tools. pipelines and tools.
  
• Strong JavaScript, CSS, HTML5 skills - ability to write modular, testable JavaScript code.
  
• 4-year degree (preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar)

Candidates should be fluent in English and should be prepared for master’s degree-level study. GRE is not required.

Candidates accepted will be admitted to the master’s degree in DePaul CDM and will receive full scholarship. In the academic year, the candidate will receive will receive will receive tuitions and receive a scholarship of $18,000.
