Ph.D. positions with full financial support are now available in Dr. Tong's group in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Delaware. The University of Delaware is one of the oldest in the nation and it is ranked as 81 by the US News. The Computer and Information Sciences program is ranked as 68 in the US.

Dr. Tong's research focuses on data science especially in social network analysis and combinatorial optimization theory. Students with all backgrounds are welcome as long as you have a passion for doing research. Preference will be given to the self-motivated students with either strong mathematical background, GPU programming experience, or experience in other research projects.

Visiting scholar/students are also welcome.
