UT Arlington Prof. Junzhou Huang组计划招聘博后一名，组内主要从事机器学习、计算机视觉、医疗图像理解、生物信息学以及药物发现等研究。组内拥有丰富的多模态医药数据和充足的计算资源，最近几年在TPAMI、ICML、 NIPS、 CVPR、AAAI、MICCAI、BCB、BIBM等顶级会议和期刊有多篇论文发表，实验室拥有博士10+，学术氛围浓厚，毕业生就业于Google、Facebook等知名企业。新入职的博后将从事在机器学习、计算机视觉、医疗图像理解、药物发现及交叉方向的研究，我们希望您满足以下基本条件：

1. 教育背景：获得计算机、电子信息、控制、数学、统计或相近学科的博士学位

2. 语言：至少熟练掌握C/C++/Python/Java/R中的一门语言

3. Deep Learning相关经验（至少熟练掌握Tensorflow, Pytorch, Torch,  Keras, MxNet, Caffe, Caffe2以及Theano中的一个package）

4. 曾在顶级会议或期刊发表过第一作者的文章

5. 良好的英语沟通和写作水平

6. 良好的沟通和团队合作能力

Prof. Junzhou Huang’s research lab (SMILE, UT Arlington) has one postdoc opening available. In SMILE lab, with 10+ Ph.D. students, we are dedicated to the cutting-edge researches on machine learning, computer vision, medical images understanding, bioinformatics and AI drug discovery. SMILE lab has abundant multi-modality medical/drug data and computational resources available. We have many papers published in top-tier journals and conferences like TPAMI, ICML, NIPS, CVPR, AAAI, MICCAI, BCB, and BIBM. Students from SMILE lab have received offers from popular silicon valley companies like Google and Facebook.We are seeking Postdoctoral Researcher candidates with demonstrated publication records in one or more of our focus areas. As a member of the SMILE lab, you will conduct world-class research on machine learning, computer vision, medical image computing, AI drug or the interdisciplinary researches, and publish in top-tier conferences and journals. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Control Theory and Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related areas;

• Proficient in at least one of the following languages: C/C++/Java/Python/R;

• Experience in deep learning (be proficient in at least one of the following packages: Tensorflow, Pytorch, Torch,  Keras, MxNet, Caffe, Caffe2, and Theano);

• At least one paper published in top-tier journals or conferences;

• Demonstrated communication skills.

Preferred Tech and Prof ExperienceAdvanced knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Distributed computing theory and application, systems;

•  Building and debugging RNN based models or reinforcement learning models;

• Medical/drug related researches or projects;

• Many publications in top-tier conferences and journals.

We will offer a competing salary for you and the specific amount should be determined by your working experience. The position can be supported for many years.
