Fully Funded PhD positions on Cyber security at Stevens Institute of Technology

Dr. Jun Xu is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology. He is recruiting one or two PhD students starting Fall 2019. The positions are fully funded, including tuition, medical insurance, and stipend.

Jun Xu is generally interested in software security and system security. He aims to automate the finding, analysis, and mitigation of software vulnerabilities. His recent focus includes sound vulnerability-finding with automated tools, discovery of semantic bugs, automated vulnerability exploitation, defects in AI systems, AI techniques for security, and anti-malware techniques. He has many publications at top security venues such as CCS and USENIX Security. His recent work won the Outstanding Paper Award at CCS 2018.
