Argument 32: The following appeared in a memo from a vice president of Quiot Manufacturing.
During the past year, Quiot Manufacturing had 30 percent more on-the-job accidents than at the nearby Panoply Industries plant, where the work shifts are one hour shorter than ours. Experts say that significant contributing factors in many on-the-job accidents are fatigue and sleep deprivation among workers. Therefore, to reduce the number of on-the-job accidents at Quiot and thereby increase productivity, we should shorten each of our three work shifts by one hour so that employees will get adequate amounts of sleep.
这两个工厂的名字真是难打，每次写到都要格外留意是否拼对了。

Verbal阅读遇到了几道机经里的原题：

数学两个部分都挺难的，时间很紧，我有一两道题没做出来（层主文科生，且没复习数学……）有道题是根据一个圆上的一段弧形的角度求圆的周长，有几道跟公约数和公倍数有关的题，概率题好像只遇到了一道。

    考试机经：没有明显的难度增加感，本来很担心，但是成绩比预想的好，V 158 数学没做完哈哈。
数学其实非常简单，我是section 2 的时候13,14题左右计算错误没找到选项，所以换方法重算后还是没选出来，结果回头检查发现乘法计算错误。后面的就都没做。望诸君以我为戒啊。
与楼上一样文科生没复习，做了的题=162。 各位复习时间自己酌情权衡一下。

临考做了PP2第一套，新东方6套题前2套。没做过机经，36套，填空绿皮，好吧基本上啥也没做过。所以没碰上过原题。考完也是啥也不记得了。帖子有些水，希望对大家有些帮助吧。

考前背完了佛脚词汇表，题目做了不到100道吧，V153。数学的第一个section比较怪，有点创新的趋势，但仍然不难，最后Q169，可能还是哪里没有考虑到

Argument：

"In an effort to bring new jobs to Dillton and stimulate the city's flagging economy, Dillton's city council voted last year to lower the city's corporate tax rate by 15 percent; at the same time, the city began offering generous relocation grants to any company that would move to Dillton. Since these changes went into effect, two new factories have opened in Dillton. Although the two factories employ more than 1,000 people, the unemployment rate in Dillton remains unchanged. 考前做了36T，数学看了一下Magoosh。做Q的最后一个section，题型似乎是有点不一样，但是难度感觉并没增加。估计可能还是哪里放松大意了。大家得小心呢

2017.11.05 VQVQV 二战 151+170 作文： issue：老师的工资应该取决于所教学生的成绩 argument 一个镇，根据一个调查报告，因为骑自行车的人不带头盔，事故增多了。所以要让大家不戴头盔。 verb： 1.美国妇女劳动。 2.蠕虫的生长 不记得.. 数学： 1.正态分布的题，做法是在根据正太分布的图，两边斜率增加的快 2.几何，很简单，知道多边形内角和的公式，180（n－2），搞定 3.最难的题，一个矩形里面有一个奥运五环，给了直径，让算矩形面积。思路：画图，连接两圆心做辅助线，发现里面是一个30度直角三角形，搞定。 4. 应用题，算比例的时候，要看清楚谁比谁 5. 简单算术，x的y次方和y的x次方谁大。这个我一开始填错了，实际上4的时候一样大，选d 6.图表题，让找60000-70000之间的点，这个在图上找就行，注意临界点 7.速度，相遇问题。 8.正太分布出了两道，给了一个表，a班级人数平均分，b班级人数平均分，问增加一个分标准差怎么做，果断D，条件不充分 9. 算成交价格和成本，a店价格给出，成交价给出，b也是。难点在于相关的英语单词记忆，price等，以及比例计算别算反了 整体难度不大。仔细计算就可 本人复习资料 V： 填空： 1. 首先最重要的、最关键的肯定是单词啦。。题主先是背了一下3K，只能算草草有点印象了。后期开始做机经，佛脚填空有50多篇，每一篇前面有一个单词list，是填空里面的单词的总结，相比来说，这些单词的针对性比3K要强很多。。算了算也只有不到1.5K的填空单词。。所以如果同xuo你时间紧，我建议你可以直接刷这个。每天刷5篇，10天搞定。单词顺带背着。我考试时候填空的单词大都是出自这50个list，所以考试时候做的比较顺。 2. 填空的做法是有网上很多讲解的，不过题主一直把所有的填空分为一般性的两类，取同or取反，具体的例子见https://www.zhihu.com/question/25150881，这里有几篇回答很好的解释了填空的一般性做法。在训练的时候，可以体会一下这种方法。找[color=rgb(85, 85, 85) !important]定位词是很重要的，大多数填空题都有定位词，就是决定空性质的词，找到这种词，填空就算做对一半了。定位词的寻找训练可以在KMF网站上面做模考题，然后看看题目讨论，有的题目里面有同学来给你分析定位词。 3.训练的资料，我用的是佛脚＋KMF模考。前者很全面，后者难度比较适合。前者侧重于学习，后者侧重于应试的训练。相辅相成，其实有很多这种资料，不一定非得是这两种，题主也是找了一种适合自己节奏的方法 阅读： 1. 首先，尽可能早的开始限时训练。这个说多了都是泪，因为平时做阅读的速度大概率是跟不上考试那种节奏的，所以一定要尽早开始适应～～ 2. 资料，36套个人用了一点点，感觉一般。一开始上手的时候，是用了一本叫阅读解析的数，后面跟了6套题，做了做找了阅读的感觉。然后一直在kmf上模考，阅读题的质量还是可以。不过kmf数学模考真的太简单了，完全不合考试难度啊。。。。 3. 如何分配时间。时间的分配每个人方法都不一样，我是平均1分钟一道，然后逻辑后做，多选后做。 4. 做题方法。因为阅读底子弱，我习惯于看题，然后再找原文定位。这里面的技巧是，如果是大意题，很多时候只需要读每一句的开头部分就可以了，可以节省不少时间。细节题，往往坑比较多，这类题没有捷径，只能一道一道刷，训练。逻辑题，取同取反。多选题，并列出现在原文。 Q：第二次（1个月后）170。这次比上次做了一些调整。 161那次复习，主要是基于kmf上面的数学模考部分，我只能说一句mmp，这个难度直接给我一种数学原来这么弱智的幻觉，然后我把这个幻觉照进了现实。 考完后意识到数学主要是坑太恶心，然后难度是有的。 于是就刷🐒哥120＋巍哥170，刷完一遍之后标出错题，再刷第二遍。刷的时候总结易错点，坑的点。然后规整一下。 然后magoosh（很多人不知道怎么不花钱做，这个再kmf上有，然而我只做了两套，不过客观的说，题目质量很高，分类很高效） 差不多就是这些了。 考试时候，我注意到，这个考试的坑是很mmp的多，不过被我机智的识破了。如果没有总结，我应该不会体会出来这些坑的。 因为训练增加了难度，所以考试时候感觉题目不算难了。做到第二部分开始有切菜的感觉了

    Q：明明比平常的要难很多，第一个Q比较顺利，但是第二个Q慢悠悠地做结果不够时间.....考前没有做机经，觉得挺难。做了Magoosh，但是17年7月开始都在说数学变难，后面的同学要注意了....感觉还是速度的问题，做肯定是会做的如果时间够的话。
         有一题问概率的，A B事件相互独立，已经P(B), P(AB)，问可以单独推出下面哪个选项。多选题
         还有一题排列组合的，坐标系的点（x, y）， x y分别满足不同的条件，问可能的pair有多少种可能
    V: 倒是还好，考前做的基本都是Magoosh, 没有意识到机经的重要性，1000题做了SEC 50-80 有碰到1道原题吧，简单的， 考场直接做....

数学真的是很渣所以时间分配不是很好,有的section没做完lol 因为是一战所以并不知道有没有变难？反正对我来说都挺难哈哈哈哈哈哈
