提问，GRE数学题20100601

题目：In a certain schoool, 75 students are enrolled in english, 85 students are enrolled in mathematics, and 60 students are enrolled in both
提问：the ratio of the number of students enrolled in both english and mathematics to the number of students enrolled in english      和3/5   比大小

我想问下 the number of students enrolled in english是要75和60 加起来还是就是单纯的就是60？



题目：a certain store sells each pencil at the same price regardless of the number of pencils sold. k of these pencils have a total price of q cents and r of these pencils have a total price of s cents.
提问： ks    和    qr   比大小

这道题答案ks=qr    ，我晕，怎么算出来的？

1. 应该加起来，即60/（60+75）
2. q/k=s/r   所以qr=ks。 因为sells each pencil at the same price

第2懂了

不过第一题的答案是前者比后者大

set B有85个
AB交集有60个

60/75 显然大于3/5
