应该是的 我找HR想要ID number的时候 她打开了当时申请的时候从网页print下来的pdf（就像online i94一样 最后有一个print pdf选项） 所以是当下立刻生成的

但不一定立刻在官方的E-verify search里面显示 我们注册的时候是3月 官方list自从2月后就没有update过 前几天update了 才刚刚查到公司的名字在上面 但我觉得应该是当下申请就生效了 而不是以网站update为准（？）

然而H1B已经在半个多月前Approve了  所以也不需要了 白花了400大洋....T   T

My case should be helpful.

When I applied my STEM-OPT on May (OPT ends at July), my current company were not E-verified but they told me they were. They gave me wrong number (I dont know what it is but it is a number). I successfully got all the I-20 things from my school (I also dont know why they can issue in this situation). I mailed everything to US.CIS on May. I found I could not locate any information on E-verify website after I mailed everything to US.CIS. And then I found my company were not E-verified.

It took me five days to ask my company to apply for E-verify and them on the 7th day with my information on that E-verify Website, I got that number. And then I told my school's OIS I made a mistake on my I-983 becasue my company gave me an error E-Verify number. My OIS said they would update the information and asked me to mail the correct I-983 form and explaination statement to US.CIS. I mailed everything on June and got my EAD on August.

Here is the thing.
School: NEED I-983 form with E-Verify number and your employ information to issue STEM I-20. BUT they do not check whether you are in the system.
US.CIS: they check whether you are in the system. BUT they need processing time. This gives us chance to mail your case earlier than you are actually in the system.

In your case, you can just mail your application firstly and then try to convince your company to apply for E-Verify.
.--This should give you another 3 month to convince your company, at it does not harm to your stay.

By the way, according to my HR, the company does not need a lot of information to apply for E-verify. ONLY EIN and basic information. And they only need to add you in the system. no need for others.

楼主可以试试劝说一下HR能不能加e verify。 我面试的时候基本是直截了当地问对方是不是e verify company，如果是就继续，不是得话就问问对方可不可以加，不能加就只能拜拜了。。
