Some Facts about Pan Xu:

Pan Xu is an incoming Assistant Professor in the CS department at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) this Fall. His research broadly spans the intersection of Algorithms, Operations Research, and Artificial Intelligence. He is generally interested in various stochastic optimization problems arising in E-commerce, Internet advertising, crowdsourcing markets, data mining, databases, and revenue management. Pan Xu got his PhD from CS@UMD jointly supervised by Aravind Srinivasan (Fellows of ACM, AAAS, IEEE, AMS, and EATCS, Member of the Academy of Europe) and John Dickerson. Pan Xu has one or two fully funded Ph.D. positions in Spring and Fall 2020.
