I asked the interviewer to clarify whether there's limits on moves and direction. He wasn't sure but he was sure it's not unlimited moves and direction because that will change the problem to simply generating 7 digit phone number starting with the input number. I wasn't sure what to code and the time ran out. That was it.
Afterward, I gooled around and found the interviewer simply copy a Google online screening problem without understand it. I don't play Chess and didn't quite get "rook" can only move left/right and up/down for arbitrary steps. Neither did the interviewer. Overall, a poor session!
