要Mark，有小K在以后找工作不愁啊，虽然还有5年。。。。。。。。。

生统Master很多，没PHD有竞争力。
不过我贴的也是level稍微高的工作，需要fresh MS的直接人家recruiter就知道不用发给我嘛，对吧？

Summary:


This position will be responsible for developing, modifying and evaluating statistical elements of Phase 3b/Phase 4 clinical trials and basic research. In addition this role will evaluate databases and statistical analyses programs, provides input into the SOPs, work instructions and macro programs of the Biostatistics Department. This position will interact closely with Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, and Business Development at Company.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.:


- Responsible for providing statistical and programming support to Clinical Operations and/or Medical Affair projects
- Participate in the development of study protocols including participation in study design discussions and running scenarios and modeling to determine the best strategy for Phase 3b/Phase 4 studies
-Review CRFs and data edits
-Develop Statistical Analysis Plans including analysis files and report/programming specifications
-Perform statistical analyses including the production of Tables, Figures and Listings , interpreting statistical results and helps prepare study reports for presentations and publications
-Responsible for managing project related analysis and programming execution performed by junior staff members and/or Contract Research Organizations
-Provide input into the development of biostatistical and data management SOPs, work instructions, and analysis macro programs.
-Assist Business Development in supporting joint analyses with partners, evaluating in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities

Education and/or Experience :

M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or Applied Mathematics with three to seven years of clinical trial experience.

Must be able to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

    看来去药厂clinical trial是王道啊。。。。
药厂跟学术界相比，哪个更容易解决身份问题呢？

看了之后觉得location对找工作非常的重要~~

我怎么觉得location对找工作不是那么重要了，尤其是对PHD来说。如果一定要说重要的话，可能是对master找intern很重要，然后master将来找工作的话还是可以去到其他地方应聘的。。。
小K姐姐我的感觉对吗？

不知道五年之后的变化。phd还有前途吗？小k姐姐能否预测一下。。。还有做genetics研究的，是不是industry 没有多少机会，只能继续research啊？
