The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering regrets to inform you that after a careful review of your application for admission to the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering graduate degree program for the Fall 2013 semester, we are unable to offer you admission for study towards a graduate degree.

We have numerous outstanding candidates who apply to the graduate program and we carry out a careful evaluation of all the applications and use numerous criteria which include GRE, TOEFL scores, academic grades, and letters of reference to arrive at a decision regarding admission. Due to the large number of applicants we are not able to give more detailed reasons for this decision. Please do not contact faculty or staff requesting more information about your application.

The highly competitive situation which presently exists at this university necessitates our selecting those students who we feel are best qualified to pursue graduate studies in our facility. We hope you will be able to find another school at which you can achieve your educational goals.

patpat，其实是1.3acres的意思，也称一撸三分地，哈哈～
