苦逼专业心情低落地报个AD

在课程设置上是我最心仪的一个项目，但是现在心情很不爽，等我缓缓再详细说吧。先延续习惯报上。

Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted into the Master of Engineering Program in Environmental Engineering offered by the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University for the Fall 2013 term. Admission to the program was very competitive this year, and you were viewed to be an excellent candidate. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions (masters@pratt.duke.edu).

We invite you to visit Duke's campus and experience the Master of Engineering Program firsthand during our Admitted Student Day on Friday, March 29, 2013. Join other admitted students at our Durham, North Carolina campus for a program overview, question-and-answer sessions, sample classes, and the opportunity to meet other admitted and current Master of Engineering students. More information on this exciting event is available online, and registration is required to attend.

As an international student, you will be required to take an English Proficiency Assessment upon arrival at Duke University. Based on the results of Duke's proficiency assessment you may be required to take one English course as part of your degree requirements. Questions about the English Proficiency Assessment and courses can be directed to Bridget Fletcher (Bridget.Fletcher@duke.edu), Assistant Director of Student Services for Duke's Professional Engineering Programs.

An internship/project is required for the program. If you have graduated and are currently working, this experience can generally be utilized to fulfill this requirement by basing your internship report and presentation on a suitable project from your work experience. Please note that internships completed during your undergraduate experience are not eligible to fulfill this requirement.

In general, due to the timing of obtaining your visa, if you wish to complete the internship before the coursework, you should consider internships in your home country if you are not already in the United States. If you cannot complete your internship before entering the program or during the summer between semesters, it can be completed after your coursework using a Curricular Practical Training (CPT). Note that this will delay your graduation until the semester following completion of the internship.

Please note that if you are coming to Duke University on a student visa, rules governing employment in the U.S., even for internships, have become more restrictive. Of particular note, you must be in the U.S. for 9 months before you are able to work outside of Duke University.

大家说说看 一个大多数人毕业了都找不到工作的破专业我是不是根本就没必要挑结果了 直接选最便宜的就好了 如果回来亏本还能小点
虽然我不讨厌这个专业 但真心是觉得伤不起啊

哈哈，肿么那么悲观了，总比我这个木有ad的强。。。也不是说大家都找不到工作嘛，一切都靠努力+运气，先选个喜欢的来了再说嘛，到时说不定机遇就来了。。。

虽不是一个专业但属于同一个院，同很难找工作，不过出路总会有的~

我真的很想知道 身为理工科怎么能混得这么惨 工资什么的可以慢慢来 总不能连工作经验都混不到啊

感觉除了他们CS的工作好找外其他都差不多的。。。主要还是看机遇嘛，实在不行读了回国混也不错。。。
