卧槽......要是这样的话，以后护士会不会成为下一个全民转专业的对象......而且烙印会不会觉得自己被耍了？

Somehow, I think Perdue is probably on purpose to do that. He'd like to object the bill, but cannot find a good excuse to block a bill proposed by his good friend. Adding a ridiculous amendment is the best approach for him to block the bill. It is a very common strategy in DC. This is why people who are familiar with US politics still believe S386 has a very low opportunity to be enacted.

乐观的估计可能还有其他senator是反对S386的，只是Perdue第一个跳出来了，其他人就没必要出来得罪人了。当然这可能也就是一厢情愿。

It is quite common for hospital organization to attach a nurse green card bill to other bills.
During last 13 years, only one legal immigration bill successfully attach to Spending Bill (it is for financial crisis). That one was to recapture green cards for nurse.
That bill was voted to pass in congress but removed during house and congress's negotiation

I can’t agree with you more. 可以说S386已经死了，后天必定还有人反对，过了10月就没戏了。
