低T选手收到哥大要求考duolingo

如题，今天凌晨收到邮件叫我去考duolingo，题主托福很低分，远低于要求的101，这是啥情况，有和楼主遇到一样情况的吗

We understand that testing site closures may have impacted your ability to submit an English language proficiency test score with your application to the Mechanical Engineering Master of Science program at Columbia Engineering. We are writing to inform you of a new testing option available. The Duolingo English Test is a convenient, fast, and affordable test that is available online, on demand.

In order to take the Duolingo English Test, visit: go.duolingo.com/applicants. All you need is an internet connection and a computer with a camera. You should be in a quiet, well-lit room for about 1 hour. Certified results are available within 2 days and can be shared instantly with Columbia Engineering. In addition to sharing the scores with Columbia Engineering via Duolingo, please also email seasgradmit@columbia.edu a copy of your score report when it becomes available.

If you have any questions or experience any technical difficulties, please contact Duolingo support by clicking the orange “Help” button on the bottom-right of any screen, or you can email them directly at englishtest-support@duolingo.com .

没有这种状况。。不过我觉得这好事，说明哥大没有直接放弃你。你有收到过哥大说开始申材料的邮件吗？

第一次听说duolingo 还能这样儿呐～祝好啊！！这说明有戏啊！！！！

额忘说了，楼主申的是MSCS

同楼主收到，不过我申请的是CE...

没收到过，直接要求我考duolingo了

考duolingo不简单吗？说明你们成了小白鼠，哥大在尝试看能不能以后换duolingo录取学生。

补充内容 (2020-3-13 18:35):
duolingo这考试比托福简单，但是是适应性考试。如果开头考砸了，那有可能越做越简单。

好消息呀，说明考虑你们。这个考出来可以加分哦。如果成绩不好，可以考几次。
