这个是发询问信后回的Rej，是我见过写得最好的Rej，花了快1000字解释我为什么不合适这个项目，可以看出他真的很认真看了我的简历，所以感觉没有很失落，毕竟是彩票校哈哈

补充一个重要现象，包括这个项目在内的两个拒了我的项目，这两天又发了系统自动回复的信告诉我还在审核中，但是其实已经拒了。这表明，主动发邮件是可以问到一些拒信结果的，虽然他们系统之后会自动回复。

Hello 我的名字,

Thanks for your interest in the MS-SE program and your inquiry. Unfortunately, we will not be making you an offer. For students who don't have a CS or SE undergraduate, we require substantial work experience. Looking at your transcripts, while you have taken some some basic CS courses (algorithms, data structures, and C/C++), a lot of other courses we normally want to see are lacking (e.g., operating systems, formal languages and automata theory, complexity theory, object orientated programming and/or software design, an introductory SE course or SE project course). Also from your SoP, your main interest appears to be AI and Algorithms, and a program oriented towards fulfilling those interests would be a better fit for you (e.g. a program on Data Science and/or Machine Learning). Most applicants to the program mention AI/ML/DS as their main interest with only a side interest in SE and do not demonstrate an understanding of what SE is or a genuine desire to study SE. We refuse the majority of these applicants for their goals do not align with MS-SE program goals (or for mistakenly applying to the program), as explained in our applications guidelines (which we suspect most applicants don't even bother to read). Your internship experience is relevant, the committee did not feel it was sufficient.

1000字解释为何不适合，真的是良心rej，难得一遇了。想到目前所有rej离，最扎心的密大项目，短短两行，称呼不是名字，不是“Dear applicants”，而是“Greetings from Ann Arbor”哈哈哈。
