In general, we are looking for students with a solid background in EECS。如果是其他工程学科的背景，需要你有较好的coding能力。
基于今年的特殊情况，Fall可能还是以online的形势科研；入学时间可以根据面试情况case by case讨论(Fall 20/Spring21/Fall21)。[PS，如果你人在美国，请在cover letter里注明]
以下是实验室和PI介绍：

Dr. Rujia Wang is an assistant professor at the CS department, Illinois Institute of Technology. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with Ph.D. in 2018, and Zhejiang University with B.E in 2013.

She is looking for multiple Ph.D. students with a background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering who are interested in her research.
Full RA/TA support is available for admitted PhD students.

Research topics include but not limited to:
* high-performance computer system & architecture
* system security and reliability
* emerging applications acceleration

Preferred skills:
* strong programming(C/C++/Java/Python) and math background
* Knowledge of computer system and architecture
* enthusiastic and motivated in research

应该还在招的，2020fall赶不上明年spring应该可以。作为转专业master已经在组里混了一年了，感觉老师挺负责的，至少对我这种**挺有耐心的哈哈。

想问下老师，组里是否做与 基于编译优化的深度学习推理引擎性能优化 相关的的工作呢，我希望能做一些工业界希望的手工优化和编译优化结合的一些工作，不知道贵组是否有此锻炼机会
