不知道地里有没有筒子在跟这个课诶，很多地方很疑惑，求交流！

Lab 3: Buffer Overflows?|?d??|?d?Segmentation fault: 11Overview

This assignment helps you develop a detailed understanding of the calling stack organization on an x86-64 processor. It involves applying a series of buffer overflow attacks on an executable file called bufbomb. (For some reason the textbook authors have a penchant for pyrotechnics.)

In this lab, you will gain firsthand experience with one of the methods commonly used to exploit security weaknesses in operating systems and network servers. Our purpose is to help you learn about the runtime operation of programs and to understand the nature of this form of security weakness so that you can avoid it when you write system code. We do not condone the use of these or any other form of attack to gain unauthorized access to any system resources. There are criminal statutes governing such activities.

第二周汇编语言跪了，遂放弃。转行自学的CS，实在无心学汇编。

这课的作业感觉挺难做的样子，而且只能提交3次

我在跟这个课，lab1感觉难度很大，后面两个lab难度还算适中。貌似这个课程的project就是借鉴CMU的15-213的。

第一周主要是逻辑相关的东西，确实不轻松。后面这两个做着也相当费劲，看来汇编功底太差，对gdb什么的掌握也不好，Lab3拖到现在还没下手- -弱问观察栈时就用”x $sp”之类的办法吗？

第一周那个确实难，主要是限定要求挺高的。
观察栈的时候可以用info stack、info frame、frame之类的命令。观察某个内存空间的内容就用你说的那个指令。
lab3主要就是找准每个function call的栈顶和返回地址的位置，然后填充输入的字符就行了，就是要仔细一些。

苦干一天，终于搞定。。表示对汇编掌握程度仍旧没有多少长进- -|
不过对控制流神马的倒是比较熟悉了。。加分题是不打算做了。。
