求助，这样的实习有意义么？

如题，小水MS，最近拿了学校的一个部门的实习，部门名字叫Office of Technology Transfer, 部门和实习介绍如下：

The XX U’s Office of Technology Transfer is world renowned for best practices within this academic industry and is currently ranked in the top 15 in royalty income among all U.S. Universities.  The mission of OTT is facilitating the transfer of technology arising from research to industry to serve the public good by creating new and useful products and by promoting economic development. It is the function of OTT to receive invention disclosures from scientists and technologists, to evaluate them for merit as well as the type of protection that is most appropriate, to see that the proper filings (e.g. patents) or registrations (e.g. copyrights) are carried out, to market the inventions to potential commercial partners (including university spin out companies) through licensing efforts, and to monitor the patent filings and the license agreements.   

Overall Project Description OTT has 1 opening to assist our licensing managers with their mission and functions by providing in the following areas; technology and intellectual property reviews, market assessment and planning, customer opportunity analysis, forecasting, and business modeling.      
This internship will provide the student an opportunity to experience the earliest stages of the commercialization process (technology evaluation, protection, and licensing) and play an important role in that process.     
  

主要是review学校研究组发明的几个技术，做市场研究决定如何有效地将其商业化。这个实习是全职，朝九晚五，2400刀/月,但是担心学校的实习和企业的实习不一样，dui'wei


现在手上还有另一个暑假实验室的研究项目，跟的是比较著名的光学的导师，做激光在医学领域的应用，也是hour paid.但是估计没有实习的多。


现在在纠结该去哪个，去实习的好处是可以积累工作经验，赚点下学期的学费，做研究可以积累专业知识，为下学期申PHD打基础。
