PhD and Postdoc positions at the University of Connecticut

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Connecticut (UConn) is seeking to hire two PhD students and two Postdoctoral Research Associates. The incumbent will lead the design and development of bioelectronics and biosensors. The project will be carried out at the University of Connecticut under Prof. Zhang's supervision. The research focus in Prof. Zhang's group is in the emerging area of flexible electronics, bio-integrated electronic systems, and neural interfaces. The PhD and Postdoc candidates should have the research experience or background in one of the following research areas:
•        Wearable electronics
•        Biophotonics or photometry systems
•        Circuits design and wireless power supply and data communication
Start date for Postdoc position is anticipated for Fall or Winter 2020. Start date for PhD position is Spring, Summer or Fall 2021.
