The Wen’s group at the ECE department of Lehigh University has Ph.D. openings for Spring2021/Fall2021 with full financial support (RA). Potential research projects include, but are not limited to: hardware acceleration and electronic design automation (EDA) of domain-specific computing (i.e. deep learning, graph neural networks), software-hardware co-design for trustworthy and privacy-preserving deep learning, AI-assisted medical imaging, machine-vision oriented system design etc.

The students in our group will have great opportunities to address cutting-edge cross-layer research problems covering computing efficiency, security and applications. In the past several years, our group has published extensively in top-tier conferences across the fields of computer vision, artificial intelligence, EDA/hardware architecture/computer system, and cyber-security etc., such as CVPR, ECCV, AAAI, HPCA, DAC, DATE, ICCAD, HOST, ACSAC etc. Our graduates have opportunities to join either the industry or academia after 3- or 4-years Ph.D. training. Our recent two graduates joined Alibaba Damo Academy in Silicon Valley as a research scientist, and US University as a tenure-track assistant professor, respectively.

Preferred background:

--BS/MS in CE/EE/CS or relevant field with solid programming skills;
--knowledge on computer architecture, error coding or deep learning/graph neural network algorithms/security will be helpful;
--Hands on FPGA or digital VLSI/ASIC design experience on hardware accelerators or neuromorphic computing will be a big plus;

你好，托福的要求应该是80分过线就可以了。雅思的要求是6.5分。
