Computer Security Ph.D. Opportunity at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville
Dr. Doowon Kim is actively looking for self-motivated students who will join the Ph.D. program. Please contact Dr. Kim (doowon@utk.edu) if you are interested in the following research areas

Dr. Doowon Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2020. His research interests include computer security (data-driven security and usable security) and computer networks (Internet measurement). He regularly publishes papers at the top-tier conferences (e.g., IEEE S&P, ACM CCS, and USENIX Security). He has been awarded the 5th annual NSA Best Scientific Cybersecurity Paper (2017) and the Ann G. Wylie Dissertation Fellowship (2019). His works about the Code-Signing PKI have been featured in Ars Technica, The Register, Schneier on Security, Threatpost, etc.
