A Ph.D. graduate assistant position with full financial support is now available for the Fall 2020 at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Alberta, Canada. The admitted students are expected to work with Dr. Xinming Li on the research topics of human factors and ergonomic risk assessments in industrialized construction.

Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil, Construction, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, and related fields;
- Minimum grade point average of 3.3 at the master’s and 3.0 at the bachelor’s levels;
- English proficiency to be proved by TOEFL (minimum 90) or IELTS (minimum 6.5).

Desirable Qualifications:
-        A master’s degree in engineering;
-        Strong programming skill in C#, Python, or/and Matlab;
-        Knowledge and experiences in a) human factors and ergonomics, b) 3D human body modelling c) computer vision and VR, or d) biomechanical analysis.
