记得很清楚，我是5月3号在北京签的，一直check到6月7号，然后听人说发邮件到fmjvisa@state.gov可以直接发到美国。抱着试一试的心情发了一封过去，内容大概是过去快5周了，有很多事情要安排，怕开学来不及之类的。结果当天就收到了如下回复：（原文粘贴）Welcome to the Student/Exchange Visitor Visa Center!



The Student/Exchange Visitor Visa Center at the Department of State has
been established to answer inquiries related to F, M and J visas for
students and exchange visitors.



Student visas (F-1 or M-1) are issued to individuals coming to the
United States for courses of academic or vocational study at qualified
educational institutions.  Exchange visitor visas (J-1) are issued to
applicants coming on a wide variety of programs designed to enhance
cultural and educational understanding between the United States and
other countries.  Exchange visitors must be sponsored by a program that
has been designated by the Department of State's Bureau of Educational
and Cultural Affairs.

很快的，6月10号那天又收到了如下回复：

Thank you for contacting the Student/Exchange Visitor Visa Center.

A check of Department consular records indicates that your visa application is currently undergoing administrative processing in order to verify your qualifications.

Administrative processing usually lasts about 60 days or less, but can take longer in some instances.  We realize that any period of wait can be frustrating, and we are sensitive to the fact that the purpose of the nonimmigrant visa program is to facilitate legitimate travel to the U.S.  Nonetheless, all U.S. Embassies and Consulates must adjudicate visas in accordance with the provisions of the law.

While we cannot predict when the processing of your case will be completed, please be assured that the Consulate General and the Department of State are aware of your concerns and will do all we can to see that it is adjudicated as soon as possible once your qualifications have been fully verified.  When complete, or if additional information from you is needed, you will be notified by the Embassy/Consulate consular office.

当然，里面大部分是客套话，但是确实说明他们看到了我这个case。收到这封邮件后的第二天我查状态就是issued了。然后签证的annotation上写着的是CLEARANCE RECEIVED 08-JUN-2013.

不管怎么说，我个人觉得直接发到这个邮箱机会更大一点，虽然不能保证第二天就clear，但是毕竟真的能让美国那边看到。所以还在check的同学就可以试试咯，多一种方法总没有什么坏处。最后祝大家早日clear。

似乎都是模板回，我给大使馆写邮件写了三封邮件了，每次回复的内容都是一样的。
