请问USC这是录了我还是只是打个广告啊？

一大早收到邮件说推荐我去summer的项目，但是可以选择拒绝，remian到fall2021。有没有大佬知道这邮件意思是已经录取了还是只调查下我的意愿呀？一脸懵逼

邮件内容如下：

Congratulations! The USC Viterbi School of Engineering is pleased to recommend you for admission to the Computer Science Summer Start 2021 Program. You are receiving this recommendation because we believe that your proven success and academic background make you an excellent fit for USC. Additionally, on your fall 2021 term application, you indicated an interest in starting your Master's degree in the summer term.

The program will start on May 19, 2021 (Session 1) and June 30, 2021 (Session 2). You have the option of starting in either session. Benefits of beginning your program in the summer term include:

Possibly completing the Master’s degree in three semesters (15 months)
Beginning your Master’s program with a smaller cohort of peers
Arriving in Los Angeles and on-campus* during the summer which typically has fewer students arriving
For international students, having your I-20 issued sooner; I-20s will be issued for the summer term students before Fall students
Being able to apply for your visa sooner, contingent on US Consulate openings

更新一下，发邮件去问了，说是确定录了，可以自由选start term，半个月之内会发正式offer

我也选择了no 希望能给fall吧 说是三周出结果

以前貌似听说过这个情况，lz可以查查过往usc帖子，就是说usc想早赚钱推荐你提早到summer入学（手动扇子娘）

我还没回复入学时间，发了邮件去问这个算不算是录取，对方给的回答是

Thank you for your email. You have been admitted. You have the choice of starting early in the summer or stay in fall. Please provide your decision in the Response Form.

楼主是不是申请的时候不小心勾选了愿意Summer Start呀，这看上去是录了Summer Start的项目。

第一段最后一句的意思应该是你选择了可以summer？不知道是不是他们发错了邮件……或者楼主可以检查一下自己当时的application里的情况。这个的意思应该是说调查你summer start的意愿后给你申请结果。如果你选了愿意，可能就给你summer的结果，大概率是ad。如果选了不愿意，再看情况发fall start的结果。

我也收到了这个邮件，请问楼主，usc回复是说选择summer还是fall term都不影响录取结果吗？能把回复内容贴上来吗？谢谢！
